DTMX enter their 4th season of competition more experienced, prepared and focused than ever before.
Team Manager Steve Dulson created the team during the 2015 season picking up talented local star Zac Stealey to compete in the AMCA MX2 Championship. A strong season with many top 5 results saw Zac and the team picked to represent the UK in the 2016 IMBA European Championship.
A strong start to 2016 netted podiums in the Michelin MX Nationals Cup, the AMCA Championship MX2 class and fighting inside the top 5 of the European Championship but disaster struck in June with a season ending knee injury. DTMX added Shaun Pearce for 2016 who also fought inside the top 10 of both championships until his own season ending injury struck just a few weeks after Zac’s. This left DTMX riderless by late summer. Signing local expert Mitchel Fellows to represent the team for the remaining rounds he fought hard within the top 20 and an overall win in the MX Nationals Clubman class brought some excellent exposure and TV time.
For 2017 DTMX entered the AMCA championship with Shaun Mx2 and Zac returning from injury just 1 week before the season started in the bigger capacity MX1 class. Shaun fought all year for a top
10 in the championship position eventually finishing P14. Zac after injury understandably took until mid summer to hit his stride. Finishing his first season of MX1 P11. Both riders took numerous race wins at local level and had occasional stand out rides in national competition.
